Our goal is to add value to your product and business by providing reliable, durable, and cost effective engines and systems as well as offering engineering and manufacturing services.
We are totally committed to the Cummins product line and can fulfill every engine, and system, need from 60 to 1500 HP in diesel, propane, and natural gas fuels. We are also trained and experienced with Cummins Filtration and Cummins Emissions Solutions products.
Engineering Services
Cummins Central Power offers engineering design and integration services, including:
Complete engine and system design, sizing, and documentation capabilities. This includes: cooling systems, engine mounting, air intake and exhaust systems, fuel systems, electrical and electronic systems, and aftertreatment.
Prototyping and machine repower capabilities. Once design is complete, we can source prototype parts and complete the engine and system installation in the prototype machine.
With our portable dynamometer and test kit, we can perform installation testing at our facility, or at the customer´s facility. Either way, the result is a finalized Cummins Installation Quality Audit that meets Cummins requirements.
Our team of Certified Cummins Application Engineers has completed many engine and system integration projects for every emissions level, including the most difficult: 2010 and Tier 4.
Cummins Central Power specializes in providing turnkey engine subassembly and power unit solutions for OEM customers. Each subassembly or power unit is engineered to that customer´s specific needs. Complete engine subassemblies and power units allow our OEM customers to concentrate on their core business of designing and producing machines.
Cummins Central Power has a fully staffed Operations Team that will provide our OEM customers with forecasting and order management, inventory management, and assembly services.
Forecasting and Order Management Services
Cummins Central Power´s experienced Material Flow Team will work collaboratively with our OEM´s sourcing teams and their forecasts to purchase assembly parts, manage the process through production build, and provide our customers with Just-In-Time delivery. The Cummins Central Power team allows our OEM´s to concentrate on their core business, simplifies their purchasing process (one PO), and Just-In-Time delivery minimizes the OEM´s inventory costs.
Inventory Management Services
Cummins Central Power´s Account Managers and Material Flow Team will work with our OEM´s to ensure they have product when it is needed. We will also work with customers to ensure smooth transitions through every engine emissions change, assisting to manage inventory during the transition.
Assembly Services
Cummins Central Power has a highly trained and experienced team of Assembly and Quality professionals. The team works with engine subassemblies and power units daily and is very efficient at what they do. And every unit is quality checked before it leaves the facility.
